To be honest, when dealing with an enemy like the crazed Aimoda, the safest strategy was to keep using ordinary Legendary Level Spells to inflict damage, then gradually wear the opponent down through attrition. After all, a dragon that had completely descended into madness no longer understood what dodging or defending meant. Nearly every Legendary Level Spell Punk cast now was being forcibly endured by the thick-skinned dragon with its flesh and blood. If the power of mutation had not been rapidly draining Aimoda's soul while supplying vitality to mend its wounds, the dragon probably would not have had a single intact patch of dragon hide left on the front half of its body.
However... after a brief but careful consideration, Punk ultimately abandoned this seemingly reliable yet actually dangerous plan.
The reason was simple—Punk believed there was at least an eighty-percent chance that he could not outlast the "Molten Ripper," which cared nothing for the cost as long as it could injure its enemy.
There was simply no helping it. Aimoda's offensive power was too great, and so were its defense and recovery abilities. Punk could clearly sense that the mad dragon was continually indulging the power of mutation, crazily draining its own soul as though it did not care about its life.
Perhaps after this battle, the dragon would be so weakened that it could not move for tens of thousands of years. But for the next few seconds, Aimoda's strength would be forcibly inflated by two or three levels beyond its original foundation. This allowed the dragon, whose class level already exceeded Punk's, to reach the point where it could chase the spellcaster across the battlefield and hammer at him even without any rationality!
By Punk's estimate, with Aimoda's current endurance, it could still forcibly withstand at
