The Osseus Demon Ball actually had certain flaws and weaknesses, one of which was its excessively rapid energy consumption.

After entering its peak burst state, the energy the Demon Ball consumed while attacking actually exceeded the energy it replenished upon contact with the Alchemy Wall. That was why it needed to absorb enemy attacks to recharge itself. Even when fully charged, the Demon Ball could maintain its burst for only three to ten seconds at most. Beyond that time, even if its energy supply kept up, the internal magic arrays could not withstand the strain of prolonged overload. This was also why the Osseus Demon Ball had to recharge on the battlefield.

In a Morningstar-tier battle, a single Demon Ball's ten-second burst attack might not amount to much. Only when all seven Demon Balls unleashed their full offensive power together could they be considered a substantial threat.

But for three newly-promoted Legendaries, even a Demon Ball's three-second burst was nearly an unsolvable situation. Within this cramped space, where there was nowhere to evade, if the Osseus Demon Ball employed a divide-and-conquer tactic, it would not even need three seconds. Within one second at most, Punk, Kane, and Smile would all lose their lives. None of them could evade the Demon Ball's pursuit alone, and none of their defenses could withstand even a single one of its terrifying attacks.

To survive the Osseus Demon Ball's burst, they could only pool the strength of all three people to evade it. At the very least, the strongest spellcaster and the Legendary Knight among them had to cooperate fully.
