Punk had obtained enough information, but he had no intention of explaining it all in detail to Kane or Smile. So, after summoning another Nightglow Jellyfish, the Legendary Mage said without looking back:

"The magic array has already been cracked by an unknown 'predecessor.' We've saved a lot of time. Let's keep moving."

With that, Punk controlled the jellyfish and continued onward.

Perhaps such an explanation would leave the other two "teammates" utterly confused, but the mage had no desire to let a certain crafty knight know that he could discern so much information at a glance—especially information regarding the unknown "predecessor's" class level... If contact became unavoidable, the sinister spellcaster would still need some "ignorantly brave people" to lead the charge.

"Hey, hey, Cyan, there's obviously something wrong with that answer. Isn't that way too perfunctory and completely lacking in sincerity?"

"This one also believes that certain people should share their information. At the very least, information regarding this 'predecessor's' approximate level should not be concealed."

Upon hearing Punk's curt explanation, Kane naturally knew that his teammate could not possibly have learned only that little. The wary Mad Knight immediately voiced his dissatisfaction loudly.

And as they passed the cracked magic array, Smile also frowned in displeasure.

Another one-sided information blockade, another display of the mage's advantage... The two Legendary powerhouses who sensed something amiss had already foreseen the existence of a deep pit.
