Colorful mushrooms as thick as bamboo shoots clustered around the trunks, their fungal patterns seeming to flow with rich juices. At that moment, the afternoon sunlight was like strands of golden sand, filtering through layers upon layers of leaves and scattering in mottled patches across the grass. It illuminated the sparkling dew, the spotted rainbow coats of the mushrooms, and the fragrant earth.
Within the sunlight entwined with mist, the entire rainforest seemed to exude the scent of green grass, flowers, and damp soil. Bathed in the sunlight and immersed in that dreamlike beauty, no one would have imagined that such a thriving emerald landscape could exist within the cage of a magical ruin—if not for the rune circle peeking out from the clouds above, adorning the blue dome of the sky.
