In a desolate corner of the Multiverse, starlight had become incomparably dim. Darkness and silence formed the eternal main theme. Within this entire dead starfield, the only luminous object was a tiny, translucent "small world," as thin and fragile as a soap bubble.
It was a Divine Kingdom—or, strictly speaking... it should have been a "temporary Divine Kingdom." Its pale red glow, writhing like blood, revealed the Lawful Evil nature of this Divine Kingdom. Its cicada-wing-thin barrier proved that, aside from forcibly marking out an area and calling it a "Divine Kingdom," it possessed no "extra" defensive or offensive functions.
Without question, this was the temporary Divine Kingdom of the current God of Red Sands—Smile. Far from being a deity's strongest bastion, it was merely a pitiful prison suppressed to the utmost extreme.
Influenced by divine power steeped in the aura of slaughter, the sky of the Divine Kingdom was eternally blood-red. The blackish-red ground, as though soaked in blood, and the dark crimson sky together created a terrifying, hellish world. The Divine Kingdom's overall palette was as dark as twilight just before nightfall, and only at its very center could one see a streak of beautiful pink.
The maiden goddess sat upon the throne of her Divine Kingdom like a slumbering monarch. Across the blood-colored plaza before her, thousands upon thousands of devout worshippers knelt at every interval. Their faces and bodies had become increasingly blurred, while their forms had grown ever more uniform. Like beggars on the verge of starving to death, these devout believers sprawled upon the ground, stretching their withered, claw-grown fingers desperately toward their deity as they repeatedly chanted bloody prayers in near-hysterical cries:
"The supreme god descends upon this world, and our souls shall finally be redeemed. Scarlet radiance ignites the stars, eternal slaughter
