After nearly ten thousand years of development, almost every oasis region in Life's Praise would contain at least one small kingdom. As a half-dragon, Anchino had been born into a rural family in one such small kingdom within an "oasis," and she had been born with the bloodline of a green dragon.
However, unlike the descendants born from unions between dragons and other races, Anchino's bloodline had not come through "direct inheritance," but through an exceptionally fortunate—or unfortunate—case of ancestral reversion.
Her father and mother had both been ordinary people with no class levels. It was only that, for some unknown reason, her father possessed the tiniest trace of green dragon blood. That magical bloodline was so thin as to be practically negligible. A bloodline percentage of only a few hundredths of a percent could at most grant a minor "special ability" to control water for washing vegetables. Such an insignificant trace of bloodline was nowhere near enough to support an honest farmer in becoming a true sorcerer.
But in Anchino's generation, the concentration of her bloodline experienced an explosive increase of sorts. An ancestral reversion that gave her bloodline a twelve-percent share of her soul had destined Anchino to become a sorcerer from the moment she was an infant.
Of course, such a sudden increase in bloodline concentration through ancestral reversion seemed far too "fortunate" to occur in the descendant of farmers who could never possibly obtain Alchemy Potions as assistance. Under normal circumstances, the odds of winning the lottery would have been far greater than the odds of such a thing happening. Yet Anchino had received this "lottery ticket" in a small village of the Kingdom of Daru, within that oasis region.
However, before Bloodline Awakening, a sorcerer would not display anything noticeably different from an ordinary person.
