Thoughts on Launching

This book had been free for a month and a half now. During that time, I held quite a few giveaway events and reader appreciation events. The prizes included physical rewards such as Gu Yuena custom pillows, Gu Yuena custom mugs, Douluo's Golden Silver Dragon God custom T-shirts, and Douluo's Golden Silver Dragon God custom card stickers.

Tomorrow, Douluo's Golden Silver Dragon God would be launching as a paid series. Following web novel convention, should I play up how miserable I am too?

Alright, that was enough pretending to be miserable. Honestly, as a new high school freshman, I didn't have much pressure in either life or finances. The only pressure came from squeezing out time every day to write. After all, hardly any people my age would be willing to take time they could spend gaming, playing soccer, or playing basketball and use it to write instead.

I wrote Douluo's Golden Silver Dragon God not only for my dream, but also to prove myself—if adults could do it, then so could I. I could do it!

Although, for a student whose allowance was zero, everyone's subscriptions and tips could be said to be my only way to improve my life, what mattered most about those subscriptions and tips was the support and recognition they gave this book's performance.

The series launched tomorrow. I originally planned to release five extra chapters, but our reader Xiaoyao Yinggai said he would give a huge tip when it launched, so we'd be releasing ten extra chapters tomorrow!

1. If the total tips in a single day exceeded 10,000 book coins, one extra chapter would be released.

2. If the total recommendation votes in a single day exceeded 2,000, one extra chapter would be released.

3. If the monthly votes entered the top ten of either the New Book Monthly Vote Rankings or the Overall Rankings in a single month, five extra chapters would be released.

4. If the monthly votes entered the top six of either the New Book Monthly Vote Rankings or the Overall Rankings in a single month, ten extra chapters would be released.

5. If the monthly votes entered the top three of either the New Book Monthly Vote Rankings or the Overall Rankings in a single month, fifteen extra chapters would be released.

6. If the monthly votes reached first place on either the New Book Monthly Vote Rankings or the Overall Rankings in a single month, twenty extra chapters would be released.

(The New Book Monthly Vote Rankings are easier to enter, but this month is our only chance. Starting next month, we can only compete on the Overall Rankings.)

Since the author was a student and did not have much time to write, if too many extra chapters were owed, they might be made up over several days. Please forgive me.

Readers who had been following this book for a long time should know that I had never released extra chapters before. Tomorrow's ten-chapter burst could be said to be Little White emptying out all of his saved manuscripts.

As for this book's reader group, it kept getting reported out of jealousy from other groups, resulting in repeated bans and the loss of a huge number of readers.
