A Date for Three

"Go, Pardo, go bring Vill-V over." Noticing the curious glances from the surrounding people, Yoshikage Kira decided to send Pardo.

"Oh..." Pardo lowered her head and walked towards Vill-V, afraid of being seen.

"Heh heh, Assistant, I'm going to put on a grand magic show right here!" Vill-V continued her pronouncements as she approached Yoshikage Kira.

Yoshikage Kira helplessly tapped her head and led them into the amusement park.

"Oh~ it's a haunted house! Assistant, let's go!" Before Yoshikage Kira or Pardo could reply, Vill-V had already run towards the haunted house.

"Hurry, hurry!" Vill-V urged, seeing them lagging behind.

"Thump!" A decaying human body suddenly emerged from a cabinet nearby, falling before the three.

"Oh? How clever." Vill-V, leading the way, acted as if she were at home. Instead of being scared, she pointed out the haunted house's mechanisms.

"Waaah... Boss, are we out yet?" Behind Vill-V, Pardo clutched Yoshikage Kira's arm, her head pressed against him, trembling with fear.

Seeing Pardo clinging to Yoshikage Kira's arm, Vill-V realized something and quickly ran to Yoshikage Kira's side, saying, "Ah, Assistant, I'm so scared." She then also clung to Yoshikage Kira's arm.

Yoshikage Kira was speechless, looking at Pardo and Vill-V hanging off his arms like two ornaments.

"And now, the great Magician Vill-V will perform," she announced, reaching behind Yoshikage Kira's ear. A rose then appeared in Vill-V's hand.

"I thought you'd make a bigger fuss." Yoshikage Kira took the rose from Vill-V and brought it to his nose to smell it.

"This is a magic trick just for you. Do you like it?"

"Of course, the rose, and you."

Caught off guard by the confession, Vill-V's face instantly flushed red.

"You're so sly, Assistant. I was the one who planned to confess first," she said, her blushing face looking dreamlike against the neon lights.

"The magic isn't over yet. Now, please, audience, close your eyes."

Yoshikage Kira obediently closed his eyes. Then, a soft sensation touched his lips.

Afterward, Yoshikage Kira opened his eyes and looked at Vill-V opposite him.

The girl's blushing face at this moment spoke more than a thousand sweet nothings.

"So, Vill-V, did it work?"
