Despite her dramatic presentation, she is a serious and unusually productive inventor. Her initial hostility toward the Flame Chasers stems from her belief that they conduct unethical human experiments; once presented with the truth, she is willing to reassess her position and cooperate against the Honkai. 7 54 329

She can be jealous and emotionally direct, particularly concerning Yoshikage Kira's interactions with Elysia. Her attachment to Kira grows during their three months living together, while Kira regards her more as someone he must look after. 6 7 11

Story Role / Major Arcs

Investigation of the Flame Chasers

At age seventeen, Vill-V approaches Yoshikage Kira and recruits him for her plan to expose what she believes is an evil organization, the Flame Chasers. She has already witnessed his Stand and concluded that he is a good person. 6

Vill-V leads the investigation through her inventions and battle plans while Kira handles her daily life, including cooking. During the three months they live together, she comes to trust him unconditionally and develops feelings for him. 6

Her infiltration of the Flame Chasers brings her into conflict with Elysia. Once Elysia reveals that the organization fights the Honkai, Vill-V accepts the offer to join rather than continue treating it as an enemy. 7

Recruitment and Containment

Vill-V enters the Flame Chasers' Engineering Department but is initially confined on an uninhabited island because of her prior dangerous actions. After the Third Herrscher's defeat, Kira is sent to bring her back to the base. 8 9

The organization orders her to build a prison capable of containing herself. Vill-V accepts the task and chooses a deserted Pacific island for the project, creating the Sea of Quanta. 10 11

Divine Key Program

Following the Herrscher of Wind's alteration of global atmospheric circulation, Vill-V proposes two major responses: a satellite using the Herrscher Core to repair the circulation system, and a program to forge captured Herrscher Cores into Divine Keys. Both proposals are accepted. 12

She becomes one of the Flame Chasers' principal weapons developers, producing successive Divine Keys and assisting with projects ranging from Fusion Warrior support to continent-scale reconstruction. 19 35 37
