At this point, Jiang Zhen spoke up: "Oh, right, one more thing—are the other Sub-Systems all the same as you?"
The little sprite nodded emphatically and said:
"Mm-hmm! Every Sub-System has a System Sprite, but we don't show ourselves; we just guide each Host in secret. Because appearing uses up a fair amount of energy. If it weren't for the Host having plenty of energy before, I couldn't have managed this either."
As she said this, the little one's face lit up with a bright smile.
Jiang Zhen glanced at the chat group, which only had himself in it, and raised an eyebrow, saying:
"Huh? There's no group owner?"
Little Sprite: "Host, our Myriad Worlds Chat Group isn't like those special systems. We don't set up things like group owners. That wouldn't fit the meaning of our existence. But don't worry, Host—we're all controlled by the Original Will, which is the Great Will of the Myriad Worlds. There's absolutely no chance of problems!"
Jiang Zhen listened, nodded thoughtfully, and then spoke again:
"Then how are our strengths divided?"
Little Sprite: "Uh... normally, we divide it into nine levels, but we don't get too detailed. Level One is the Mortal Realm: this includes ordinary people, up to those with some Martial Prowess or Internal Energy, whose lifespans never exceed two hundred. We collectively call this the Mortal Realm. Level Two is the Transcendence Realm: this is where one begins walking the path of the extraordinary. The Host can think of it as the stage where cultivators reach the Golden Immortal realm and then progress toward Immortal cultivation. Level Three is the Extraordinary Realm, sometimes called Immortals or Divine Beings elsewhere. In short, this is where one barely steps into a state of extended lifespan. Level Four, the Host can consider as the Heavenly Immortal or Heavenly God realm and above, able to use laws to a certain extent—and the Host is currently at Level Four. Level Five, by the Immortal Path, is the Golden Immortal; in many places, gods at this level are seen as Chief Gods, because they grasp a bit of law power. Level Six can be seen as something like the Taiyi in the Immortal Path, not yet reaching the point of freely roaming the Myriad Worlds, but enough to dominate one's own world. Level Seven, the Host can think of as something like the Daluo in the Immortal Path—eternal and free, able to roam the Myriad Worlds with a thought, just not too far. Level Eight is a powerful existence that can traverse the Myriad Worlds with their own body. Level Nine is a terrifying existence comparable to the Heavenly Dao Consciousness of a Great Thousand World."
Jiang Zhen heard this, rubbed his chin, and said:
"I see. Your division is somewhat interesting. But according to the world I'm in, where would the strongest ones reach?"
Little Sprite: "On the Host's side, the strongest is a Level Six existence, but that terrifying being seems to be resisting something and can't appear. Even those Level Five existences, and even Level Four ones, can't show up. Aside from the Host, who is Level Four, the strongest I can detect are only Level Three. And even then, they're the kind of severely lopsided Technological Gods—their path seems to have skewed quite a bit!"
Hearing this, the corner of Jiang Zhen's mouth twitched, and he immediately understood the meaning behind the little sprite's words. The technology of this Supergod Universe was indeed skewed to a bizarre degree. The so-called gods they created were like characters in a game, needing a massive system to support them; otherwise, they were just beings with relatively strong bodies. One could say that once such a Technological God was targeted, this weakness was all too obvious—once exploited, they became terrifyingly weak.
At this point, Jiang Zhen rubbed his chin and suddenly spoke up:
"By the way, what level are the other chat group Sub-Systems you can contact right now?"
Little Sprite: "Uh... Host, my current level isn't high enough; I can only contact Level One and Level Two existences. The worlds they're in are generally Plane Minor Worlds, though some might be weaker Minor Thousand Worlds."
Hearing this, Jiang Zhen looked at his chat group and the names inside.
"Little Sprite, do they all have to appear with real names?"
Little Sprite: "Not necessarily, Host. You can choose another title. And generally, other sprites don't use real names for their Hosts either. So, Host, would you like to pick one?"
Hearing this, a slight smile curled at the corner of Jiang Zhen's mouth as he said:
"Of course I would—otherwise, where's the fun? Change mine to Pangu Clansman!"
As soon as he said this, the little sprite immediately nodded, and in the next moment, the information in the chat group shifted instantly. The original "Jiang Zhen" was replaced by the four characters "Pangu Clansman."
"Ding! Moonlit Bird Walker has joined the chat group!"
Just as Jiang Zhen was studying the chat group, a sound rang out, and Jiang Zhen looked over.
He saw an account named Moonlit Bird Walker appear in the chat group.
At that very moment, in another world, a university student walking toward his dorm suddenly froze.
"What the hell! Who's there? Come out and face me!"
As soon as he said this, a few nearby couples turned to look at the young man with puzzled expressions.
The young man swept his gaze around, only to find others staring at him like he was an idiot.
Instantly, he scratched his head in embarrassment, then, face bright red, dashed quickly toward the dorm.
After he left, someone directly muttered, "Tch! The guy's lost it!"
Back in the dorm, the young man hurried to his bed and lay down quietly.
"What the hell? Could it be that studying too hard lately has me all wound up?"
Just then, a panel suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Pangu Clansman: "New guy, what's up? Not talking? Shy?"
The young man stared at this, completely stunned. At that moment, a stream of information flooded into his mind.
Seeing this, his originally shocked expression shifted directly to excitement.
"Holy crap! I actually got something like this! Damn, from now on, I'm the Child of Destiny! Gahaha..."
Right then, the dorm door suddenly swung open, and two people walked in.
"What's up, Zhang Chulan? Did we get a duck in here?"
Hearing this, Zhang Chulan looked confused and said, "Uh... what are you talking about? A duck? What duck?"
The guy: "Uh... maybe I misheard! Whatever. Zhang Chulan, we're about to head over to the girls' dorm to build some connections.
You wanna come? This is a good chance—Brother Ling already went to book a spot!"
At this, Zhang Chulan shook his head and said, "Forget it, I'll pass. I've got stuff to do later. You know me, an orphan—if I don't go work, I won't have anything to eat."
Hearing this, the two exchanged a glance, then nodded in unison without saying anything more.
"Alright then, we're off!"
With that, the two left the dorm. Alone in the room, Zhang Chulan began studying the chat group.
When Zhang Chulan saw what Jiang Zhen had posted, his eyes lit up, and he said, "Pangu Clansman! Damn, Pangu—this guy's definitely a big shot, a total big shot!
No way, I've gotta latch onto a thigh like this."
Moonlit Bird Walker: "Greetings, big shot. This humble one is Chu Zhanglan. May I ask who you are..."
Seeing this, Jiang Zhen raised an eyebrow and said smugly, "Heh, this guy's really scheming. Moonlit Bird Walker, heh, that iconic scene—how could I forget it?
And 'Chu Zhanglan'? It's practically Zhang Chulan. Lying even here, tsk tsk. As expected of someone taught by that big-eared thief, he sure knows how to hide."
Pangu Clansman: "Heh, I'm no big shot. But you? Tsk tsk, your name doesn't matter. What matters now is that you take a good look at your account.
Even though it's just the two of us for now, yours... heh heh..."
Zhang Chulan: "Moonlit Bird Walker... uh... is there something wrong with this account?"
