Background / History

Jiang Zhen was originally an ordinary office worker who died in an explosion. His soul subsequently entered an embryo created in the Pangu Sacred Land, where incompatibility between soul and body left him in a prolonged slumber. 3

The Pangu Clan created the embryo by combining the bloodline genes of their strongest members. Their aim was to create a war god stronger than Jiang Chen and capable of permanently destroying Fate. Before Jiang Zhen could mature, Fate attacked the Sacred Land; the cultivation chamber was swept into a space-time rift and carried into another world. 1 3 444

The chamber ultimately reached Earth Star in the Supergod World and sank beneath Changping during the Warring States period. Jiang Zhen intermittently awakened beneath the mass grave, sensed faint Pangu bloodline traces, and continued absorbing bloodline aura for more than a millennium. 1

He emerged during the Tang era amid Pan Zhen’s invasion, buried the exposed Changping remains, collected green lights from the East Sea ruins, and forced Pan Zhen’s army to withdraw from Huaxia. His memories recovered gradually, becoming fully clear after he used nine Energy Arrows. 2 3

Appearance

Jiang Zhen normally appears as a handsome, eight-foot-tall man in black robes. He has long hair worn loose over his shoulders and can suppress his aura so completely that he seems harmless. 2 23

  • His eyes changed from crimson to pale gold with purple pupils after his Stellar Realm tribulation. 61
  • In Pangu Clan form, he manifests wings and exposed fangs. 441
  • His Corpse God Form enlarges his body into a colossal, green-faced, fanged figure surrounded by dense Sha Qi. 617

Personality

Jiang Zhen is pragmatic, self-directed, and unwilling to bind himself to the ideals of Earth Star’s godly civilizations. He regards their doctrines of justice, peace, freedom, and depravity as matters for others to judge because he acts according to his own convictions. 164

He is often detached from ordinary conflicts and openly states that he will not intervene merely because Earth Star is in danger. His concern is reserved primarily for genuine Pangu Clansmen and threats severe enough to endanger the world or draw the attention of greater existences. 4 157

Despite this detachment, he plans far ahead and protects people he considers his own. He spent a millennium cultivating Pangu-descendant bloodlines, creating armor systems, and preparing Earth Star against future extraterrestrial threats. 26 68 70

Abilities & Skills

Pangu Bloodline

Space and Time Manipulation

Jiang Zhen possesses the Power of Spacetime and later gains direct access to Space and Time Laws. 47 61

His body can withstand attacks that would overwhelm ordinary immortals or gods. He fought upstream through a Sword Qi River, caught the Golden Flood Dragon Scissors barehanded, and broke the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation through brute force and Law power. 229 617

  • Can suppress opponents with a spear alone, even against the Jade Emperor’s Haotian Mirror. 704
  • Has displayed lethal Sha Qi capable of collapsing an Immortal Palace and annihilating its inhabitants. 256
