Laser mode: travel at light speed, flash across the battlefield, free and unfettered!

Electron mode: Quantum Tunneling, bypass physical barriers, and strike straight at the heart! Meson mode was stranger still: turn insubstantial, overlap, merge with all things, and command them!

Beyond that, taking on the forms of various elements came just as easily.

From ordinary magnets, flying sand, gold, silver, copper, and patina to the formidable Neutron Star, Micro-Ink Alloy, and Kaleidoscope tried them all.

A storm suddenly swept through space, engulfing numerous ships like a nebula. It rubbed against them, assimilated them, and blew an entire pirate crew into drifting sand!

Then the sand became a beam of light, crossed hundreds of thousands of kilometers, and turned into a torrential downpour of hydrochloric acid that pelted a fleet.

The instant the raindrops touched the armor, they tunneled straight through it and drenched the pirates inside!

Screaming, the pirates dissolved into milky-white slurry. They, too, became rainwater, flooding the ships from within!

Within seconds, the ships had become masses of liquid that surged with the downpour toward another Pirate Gang!

Whoosh! After another dash at light speed, the next Pirate Gang was met by billions of Ball Lightning spheres crashing down on their heads! Amid a crackling bombardment, that Pirate Gang was wiped out too, becoming still more Ball Lightning that flew toward the next targets! Streaks of light darted across the battlefield. Each time Kaleidoscope flashed across a stretch of space at light speed, he became some kind of substance and assimilated his enemies.

One moment, blossoms and leaves swirled; the next, birds and crows filled the sky. Lightning writhed, then snow and shards of ice swept through.

Under the Unified Force, even seemingly harmless, delicate substances displayed incredible power, turning their opponents into the very same substance!
