The Anunnaki left the Four Emperors' lair and drifted through the True Vacuum for more than two hours.

Kaleidoscope replied calmly, "A Dark Energy Wave. It bypasses all defenses and acts directly on consciousness."

Chi Xiang's eyes lit up. "Then wouldn't that leave enemies at your mercy? You could've killed him just now!"

Kaleidoscope patted the back of Chi Xiang's head. "In theory. But the Truth Society's black-hole technology is nothing to underestimate. I didn't know what else he had up his sleeve, so it was better not to invite trouble."

"We can't stand against the Tai Wei Hua Heavenly Police right now. Any wormhole I don't control could bring them straight to us..."

"We have plenty of resources now. What we lack is manpower, so stealing more resources would be pointless. We shouldn't linger here."

The more mentally exhausted he became, the more easily his craving returned. Operating the Quantum Condensed Matter Body and the Quantum Divine Core was mental work.
