Even Little Grey became terrifyingly powerful once they had Unified Force Weapons.

The Soldier Insects, never particularly intelligent to begin with, were slaughtered like vegetables beneath a cleaver.

The Dark Matter logistics system kept the enemy from securing large-scale supplies. They could only turn insect corpses into ice to replenish their stores and use the Energy Axis to absorb part of the enemy's high-energy attacks.

But those measures provided only small to moderate replenishment. Little Grey could afford to be reckless with attacks that consumed small or moderate amounts of energy, but a massive strategic-level strike would still leave them drained for some time.

With that in mind, the Kunlun Empress ordered the Soldier Insects to forget about finesse. They needed only to bombard the enemy with high-energy attacks and even close in to self-destruct.

No material, however strong, could withstand an Antimatter cannon. No field, however strong, could endure a Genesis-level strike.

Even beginners in microtech could build weapons of this kind. In the hands of Kunlun's army, they were more accurate, faster, and more efficient.

The upper limit of offense would always exceed that of defense. Destruction was always easier than protection.

Under that relentless, ruinously costly bombardment, the swarm's technological weaknesses were minimized as far as possible, forcing the enemy into a battle of attrition and logistics.

Minutes later, Lin Li and Alan sailed through a debris field filled with enormous blocks of ice.

Together, they had wiped out several Little Grey squads. After several fierce battles, they could no longer see any enemies with the naked eye.

It wasn't that they had killed them all. Tactical concealment was fundamental to every space battle.

Little Grey were outnumbered, so naturally they fought from hiding.
