The stars of the You Fa Star Region were no rounder than those of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Milky Way contingent brought out their civilizations' reserves of unified matter and bought a few stars as footholds. Compared with Taiwei Hua, they lacked resources, so each bought only one or two stellar territories, and even those were the cheapest red dwarf stars.

All they needed was somewhere to settle. They established wormholes, built fortresses, and continuously shipped over their civilizations' finest products, listing them on the market to test the response.

Yet only the Dragon Race's dark energy weapons, the Heavenly Heart Civilization's Quantum Dot Matrix Computers, and the Triangulum Civilization's blue sea of learning interested a few members of the Carefree Overlord. Nobody showed any interest in the other products.

In truth, everyone had distinctive technologies, but some were difficult to sell. After acquiring Taiwei Hua's Sea of Learning, the Triangulum Civilization had improved it with their own specialized technology to create the blue sea of learning. Only by making it better than the original had they managed to secure a tiny share of the market.

Taiwei Hua, by contrast, specialized primarily in reincarnation technology and superluminal communication through divine sense power. The former was not actually resurrection, merely the artificial creation of natural persons. As for the latter, the Buddhist Civilization was far more advanced. Any casually purchased high-dimensional communicator was better than Taiwei Hua's method of first transforming themselves into quantum condensates.

In the end, they discovered that only the Zi Wei Civilization and the Truth Society offered anything truly distinctive.
