Extinction
Lin Li held his daughter close, his heart still pounding.
Seeing this, Kira said bleakly, "Lin Li... you knew all along?"
Lin Li flew into a rage. "Did you think you could hide what you've done?"
"Have you forgotten everything humanity suffered?"
Kira knew he was going to die, but he still tried to struggle. "I was wrong. I've let everyone down. I'm willing to confess and accept punishment. Please give me a chance to make amends."
Lin Li shook his head. Kira still thought he could live? That making amends could spare him death?
"You think offering me a way to back down will be enough?" Lin Li's voice was ice-cold.
Kira froze, utterly despairing.
"Kira, have you lost your mind? How dare you hide something this forbidden from us? Guards, arrest everyone involved at the Life Research Institute. Let them face justice."
More than half the Board Families had arrived. After hearing Lin Li and seeing what was happening, they quickly took the hint and began making arrests. But they pinned everything on Kira and the employees present.
The Solomon Warriors did not flee. Kira looked utterly defeated.
He glanced at the countless Solomon People Lin Li had brought here, then fixed his gaze on the Board Families.
Many glared at him. Kira lowered his head and simply took all the blame. "Everyone wants to stand above others like a god. All I did was give them a place to do it."
"I did it all. I deserve to die. Do it, Lin Li."
Lin Li laughed in fury. His laughter rang through the stars and echoed across the entire Milky Way, filling countless Solomon People with dread.
A Solomon leader shouted angrily at Kira, "You corrupted the laws the Great Emperor fought so hard to establish!
