As Shangqing Sect declared war on Tianhe Sect, the Extreme Ice Demon Sealing Formation began to fail, leaving Lingyun Sect bracing for the ancient demons’ release.

• Li Qing learned from Elder Xu about Nether Cold Fire in the Cold Wind Secret Realm and began preparing to seek it, gathering information and trading for Soul Protection Pills and a Golden Fire Crow tail feather.
• Li Qing oversaw the Ascension Ceremony, stopped Tang Lushan from attacking Lu Fan, and later helped escort the new disciples back to Lingyun Sect alongside Shen Ningbing.

He and his companions caught up with Suxin’s fleeing group and joined the battle against the pursuers, which remained unresolved as a powerful aura rose in the north.

• Li Qing entered the Forbidden Speech Snow Mountain secret realm, captured the ancient demon Chi Man, and later endured the Nether Cold Fire to refine its Origin Fire Seed.
• Li Qing returned to Lingyun Sect, refined the Nether Cold Fire, and broke through to the Foundation Establishment Middle Stage before activating five markings on the Black Furnace and giving the Spear of Wind an artifact spirit named Qingfeng.
• Shangqing Sect breached Tianhe Sect’s protective formation and destroyed the sect, while Suxin led the surviving disciples toward Lingyun Sect with the Water Spirit Pearl Fragment.

Li Qing opened Hundred Refinements Tower and launched a secret black market, ending with a Scarlet Crystal that provoked an intense reaction from several demonic beasts.

• True Person Ziqing fought True Person Linglong to protect the surviving Tianhe Sect elders, while Li Qing led the survivors back to Lingyun Sect and found Suxin grieving Tianhe Sect’s destruction.
• The Chi Demon Tribe broke free from the Extreme Ice Demon Sealing Formation and attacked Lingyun Sect, where Sky Swallowing Ancestor and the sect elders fought to defend the Spatial Node.
• Wen Xia betrayed Lingyun Sect during the battle, and Sky Swallowing Ancestor died after helping Wu Chong escape as Chi Ming overwhelmed the defenders.
• Shen Ningbing used a Void-Breaking Talisman to pull Li Qing through a spatial rift, and the pair escaped to the Great Desolation Region after Li Qing found her unconscious.
