There he gathered Beast King Tokens, secured spirit fruits for himself and Chong Jiu, killed Jin Lie and the Three-Headed Black Crocodile, and broke through to Late Core Formation.

• Li Qing healed his soul, uncovered a star map in the Soul Nurturing Temple, and founded Lingyun Sect, where he reunited with his niece Li Yuhuan and helped her begin her cultivation.
• Li Qing hunted sea beasts for alchemy ingredients, but a scarlet flood dragon attacked him and a Heavenly Wind swept both of them into the Black Furnace and the Myriad Beast Secret Realm.
• Li Qing subdued demons, gathered Beast King Tokens, and led Rice Bucket, Chong Jiu, and the Terror Claw Lizard into the Life Tempering Spirit Pool, where he restored his body's potential.

Li Qing gained the Soul Refining Scripture and Wind Thunder Silver Wings, escaped the Demon Domain, and strengthened Lingyun Sect while preparing to seek the Nascent Soul Realm. As he retraced his past, he rescued Cao Xiu, whom Hundred Spirits Dao Lord considered as a possible inheritor.

• Li Qing received the Soul Refining Scripture from Hundred Spirits Dao Lord, while Rice Bucket earned the Heavenly Demon Tiger inheritance without breaking its Spirit Contract.
• Hundred Spirits Dao Lord taught Li Qing how to escape the secret realm and helped him forge Wind Thunder Silver Wings, while Rice Bucket and Chong Jiu completed their inheritances.
• Li Qing evaded the Demon Kings waiting outside the secret realm and escaped the Demon Domain, then reunited with Suxin and brought her back to Lingyun Sect with the Mountain-Bearing Tortoise.

• Li Qing followed Daoist Qingyang’s corpse puppets into the Crimson Blazing Palace, killed Qingyang, and purged the demonic qi corrupting the palace’s seal.
• Li Qing received the complete Crimson Blazing Heaven Art and other inheritances, subdued the Fire Jade Bees, and gave Cao Xiu an Ascension Token.
• Li Qing revisited Sheng Tian, learned of Qian Hong’s final message, and brought Qian Linghui to Lingyun Sect after visiting the graves of people from his past.
