Overview
The Immortal Realm is a vast territory that once coexisted with the Mortal Realm. The two were linked by the Path to Feathered Ascension: Feathered Ascension Realm cultivators could ascend to cultivate there, while immortals could descend into the mortal world. 1316
Its territory is divided into forty-nine continents. In earlier eras, each continent reportedly possessed an Ascension Hall and Transformation Pool, overseen by Immortal Lord forces to receive and recruit ascenders. 1524
History
Separation from the Mortal Realm
Before the Path to Feathered Ascension was severed, the Immortal Realm had already begun to suffer the collapse of its Immortal Dao order. This dark period, the Era of Immortal Fall, saw immortal powers, Dao lineages, and legendary figures perish amid an unknown Cataclysm. 1316
The Cataclysm ultimately destroyed the Path to Feathered Ascension and separated heaven from earth. The Immortal Realm and Mortal Realm thereafter became isolated, leaving no true immortals in the Mortal Realm. 1316 1486
Reopening of the Path to Immortality
The Extraterritorial Battlefield reappeared after countless years of absence, reconnecting the Mortal Realm and the Immortal Realm. Its Path to Immortality led qualifying cultivators through fierce competition toward the Transformation Immortal Platform and the Immortal Realm gate. 1486 1501
The normal ascension process transforms a cultivator's Dao Body, soul, qi and blood while passing through space-time barriers. Failure to endure its dangers results in complete destruction of body and soul. 1523
Su Yi bypassed this process by forcibly crossing the Immortal Gate before reaching the Ascension by Rosy Clouds Realm, surviving despite the established rule that such an attempt meant certain death. 1523
Restoration
The Immortal Realm was among the worlds destroyed by the Nameless Monk's calamity. After Su Yi transformed the Nirvana Chaos and opened a new path beyond Chaos, the destroyed Immortal Realm, Mortal Realm, and God Domain were restored along with their inhabitants. 3682

Immortal Dao
Immortal Spiritual Qi
Immortal Spiritual Qi is the source power of the Immortal Path. At the Transformation Immortal Platform, ascenders can absorb it according to their battle achievements; greater absorption produces a stronger Great Dao foundation for becoming an immortal. 1522
Upon entering the Immortal Path, a cultivator's prior cultivation transforms into Immortal Essence, which is cultivated by absorbing Immortal Spiritual Qi and condensing Immortal Dao Laws. 1599
Immortal Essence Space
The first Immortal Path realm, the Cosmic Realm, opens an Immortal Essence Space using the Divine Infant as chaos. This inner space stores Dao Xing and can evolve phenomena such as stars, mountains, rivers, seasons, and entire domains. 1599
Cultivators with sufficiently powerful foundations can manifest their Immortal Essence Space in distinctive forms. At the Immortal King level, this foundation can become a Dao Domain capable of replacing surrounding Great Dao rules with the user's own Dao Xing. 1628 1720

Political Order
The Central Immortal Court once governed the Immortal Realm and appointed Immortality Guides from Immortal Lord forces under its authority. These guides supervised the Path to Immortality and the selection of ascenders. 1486
Before the Era of Immortal Fall, a single decree from the Central Immortal Court could mobilize major forces to defend the Nine Great Heavenly Barriers. Its absence contributed to later disorder, as major factions pursued their own interests rather than supporting the frontier. 1648
The Taiqing Sect later exploited the disrupted ascension system by spreading false information about where gates to the Mortal Realm would appear, seeking to control newly ascended cultivators. 1526
Major Conflicts
Alien Demon Race Invasions
The Immortal Realm's Nine Great Heavenly Barriers defend against the Spirit Domain, homeland of the Alien Demon Race. The Seventh Heavenly Pass has historically suffered the most frequent warfare due to its long defensive line. 1646
In Wang Ye's era, he personally suppressed the Alien Demon Race at the Seventh Heavenly Pass, killing numerous Demon Emperors and forcing the enemy into a peace that lasted tens of thousands of years. The Alien Demon Race consequently called him the Immortal Realm Tyrant. 1647
During a later invasion, the Spirit Domain deployed a million-strong army across the forty-nine continents, conquering cities and forcing Immortal Path factions into submission. 1948
Path to Godhood
The appearance of the Epoch Battlefield marked the first emergence of the Path to Godhood in the Immortal Realm. Only Supreme Mystery Grade existences were considered qualified to compete for this opportunity. 1967
Epoch Fragments within the battlefield contain Epoch Laws that can be refined into Godheads, enabling a cultivator to ignite Divine Fire and prove the Dao to become a god. 1968
