Background

Ao Le is the youngest daughter of the Minjiang Dragon Lord. Her parents’ forbidden relationship caused conflict between the Eastern and Western Sea Dragon Palaces; after her mother was taken away, Ao Le grew up separated from both parents and suffered bullying from the Wu River Dragon Lord’s children. These experiences left her timid, withdrawn, and lacking confidence. 365 366

The Minjiang Dragon Palace selected Lu Qingfeng as her husband after the Fortune Illuminating Mirror revealed his rare Azure Fortune. Centuries of hardship transformed her into a decisive commander. During the defeat at the Yin River, she ordered an immediate retreat rather than sacrifice her soldiers, personally restrained the Azure Bull King, and ensured Ao Jun’s escape. 421
