Naruto crossed into the Dragon Ball universe, changed the fate of its androids, and traveled with Trunks through several timelines. The arc ended with Goku fighting Android 19 as his heart disease began to weaken him.

• Naruto and Saitama defeated Boros and destroyed the invading spaceship, but Naruto was pulled through a spatial tunnel into another universe.
• Naruto drew No. 18 into the Crystal Pendant, explained the coming threats from Trunks and Cell, and later removed No. 17’s bomb and implanted a seed in him.
• Naruto, No. 18, and Trunks traveled to the past, where Trunks killed Frieza and King Cold while Naruto absorbed Frieza’s remains.
• Trunks met Goku, gave him medicine for his heart disease, and learned from Naruto that their histories belonged to different timelines.
• Trunks returned to his future, while Naruto stayed with Bulma and arranged for No. 17 and No. 18 to be believed dead.
• Three years later, Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo met the androids, and No. 20 absorbed Yamcha’s energy before Goku led the androids away from the city.
• Goku transformed and fought No. 19 alone, but his heart disease flared and his strength began to fade.

Goku recovered from his heart disease with Naruto’s help, while Vegeta and the others faced the androids and learned that Cell was hunting No. 17 and No. 18. As Goku and Vegeta prepared to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Piccolo fought No. 17 to keep him from being absorbed by Cell.

• No. 19 drained Goku’s energy during his heart attack, but Vegeta intervened, transformed into a Super Saiyan, and destroyed the android while No. 20 escaped.
• No. 20 fled to his laboratory and awakened No. 17 and No. 18, who destroyed his control device, and Naruto captured Dr. Gero, and the androids later activated No. 16.
• No. 18 defeated Vegeta and the other Z Fighters, while Naruto learned to make Senzu Beans and used a Forest-energy bean to cure Goku’s heart disease.
• Naruto trained Goku in deceptive combat techniques, and Goku practiced combining afterimages with his attacks as the androids continued searching for him.
• Piccolo fused with Kami and battled Cell, learning that Cell needed to absorb No. 17 and No. 18 to become complete, and Cell escaped after blinding Piccolo and Trunks.
• Trunks destroyed Cell’s larval form and gave No. 17’s blueprints to Bulma, while Goku took Gohan to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and sent Vegeta and Trunks in first.
• A-No. 18 and B-No. 18 assimilated and discovered they could fuse and separate, while Goku planned to take the androids away after his training.
• Piccolo drew No. 17 to a deserted island and fought him, unleashing hidden Kikoho blasts that No. 17 survived by raising a green barrier.

Naruto defeated Cell in one timeline, then returned with him to Trunks’s timeline and watched Cell absorb No. 17 and No. 18 to reach his perfect form. After Vegeta and Trunks failed to defeat Cell, Goku fought him at the Cell Games, while Naruto waited for a chance to intervene.

• Naruto absorbed Cell, trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and took Cell through the Space-Time Tunnel to Trunks’s timeline.
• Cell absorbed No. 17 and No. 18, becoming perfect, and defeated Krillin, Vegeta, and Trunks.
• Cell announced the Cell Games, and Goku and Gohan emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with new Super Saiyan forms.
• Goku brought Dende to Earth to restore Shenron, while Naruto secretly mastered Nature Power and planned to travel to the future.
• Goku and Cell began their match, trading blows and using powerful techniques as fighters and spectators watched.
• Cell destroyed the tournament arena, and Goku blasted away Cell’s upper body with a full-power Kamehameha, but Cell regenerated.
• Goku and Cell continued until both were exhausted, and the Z Fighters decided to give Goku a Senzu Bean before attacking Cell together.

Naruto helped bring the Cell Games to an end, returned to Saitama's universe, and tested Saitama's growing power in a fierce fight. As Garou began hunting heroes, Naruto supported the injured Licenseless Rider and left him determined to train harder.

• Goku surrendered to Cell and sent Gohan in to fight, while Naruto secretly gave No. 16 a way to return if Cell killed him.
• Cell killed No. 16, prompting Gohan to transform into Super Saiyan 2 and overpower Cell, who then vomited out No. 18 and threatened to explode.
• Goku took Cell to King Kai's planet, where Cell exploded, but Cell regenerated on Earth and resumed the fight, and Gohan protected Vegeta and injured his left arm.
• With Goku urging him on and the Z Fighters distracting Cell, Gohan defeated him with a Kamehameha, while Naruto absorbed Cell's core and escaped with No. 18.
• Naruto reunited C-No. 18 with A-No. 18 and B-No. 18, then returned to Saitama's universe and reappeared a month later with research data for Genos.
• Naruto cared for the exhausted Tatsumaki, stopped Fubuki from forcing Saitama into her group, and later agreed to test Saitama's divine power in a fight.
• Naruto fought Saitama across the moons of Jupiter, overwhelmed him, and tried to absorb his Cosmic Origin Power before returning to Earth with him unconscious.
• Garou attacked Mumen Rider, Licenseless Rider, and the tank-top fighters before fleeing Bang and Bomb, while Naruto later gave the recovering Licenseless Rider Senzu Beans and urged him to keep training.
