Background / History

Bloody Mary originally served the King of Slaughter as one of his Three Bat Generals. He dispatched her from Slaughter City to investigate the Misty Auction House, its unusual auction items, and a newly appearing Level 95 Fox Demon 8.

While investigating in the Barack Kingdom's royal city, she approached Lin Ziyi in the guise of a seductive woman in a black dress. After draining a man who accepted her invitation, she targeted Tushan Lingling, recognizing the fox demon as an auction treasure and seeking to claim her for herself 36 37.

Bloody Mary saw through Lin Ziyi and Tushan Lingling's attempt to lure her into a false contract. Although Tushan Lingling temporarily distracted and damaged her, Bloody Mary exploited Lingling's attachment to Lin by attacking him with a clone 37 38. Her investigation eventually led her to suspect that Lin Ziyi was connected to, or possibly represented, the Black Mist 39.

Tushan Lingling defeated her outside the city with the Peacock Plume. Though Bloody Mary had sent a clone ahead to escape immediate destruction, the loss of her main body reduced her to Soul Fighting Douluo strength; Lin Ziyi then used Hammer Slave to subjugate her 41 42.

The King of Slaughter lost remote control of Bloody Mary's blood and concluded that she had either died or been taken over by a superior force. He consequently sent the Death General to locate her 45.

After more than a month under the hammer's control, Bloody Mary regained part of her intellect. Given the choice between serving Lin Ziyi and death, she voluntarily changed allegiance to him 92. Lin later removed the remaining restraint and restored her to her Level 96 peak, trusting that her loyalty would remain intact 108.

Appearance

Bloody Mary usually manifests as an alluring woman in a black silk dress. Her human form can dissolve into swarms of blood-red bats and reform elsewhere 37 38.

Before her defeat, Bloody Mary was calculating, predatory, and confident in her mental superiority. She used seduction, mind-reading, and intimidation to manipulate targets, while quickly identifying the operating principle behind Lin Ziyi's Rat Head Duck 37 38.

She also displayed strong survival instincts. She used a clone to evade Tushan Lingling's attempted execution and later chose submission to Lin Ziyi after regaining enough awareness to understand that death was the alternative 41 92.

Under Lin's command, Bloody Mary became obedient and service-oriented. She checks food for poison, follows orders without hesitation, and later works effectively alongside Tushan Lingling despite the latter's occasional dissatisfaction with her closeness to Lin 49 51 55 108.
