All along the way, Mr. Granger kept asking Ron about the flying car. He even asked Ron to speak with Mr. Weasley during the summer holidays and see whether he could visit their home to get a look at the flying car himself.
Ron readily agreed. Though it was their first meeting, he genuinely liked Mr. Granger.
While they were still on the road, Draco had already returned home.
When Draco stepped through the front door, he looked thoroughly dejected.
"Little Dragon?" his mother, Narcissa, asked with concern. "What's wrong? You've been so quiet all the way home. Were you unhappy at school?"
Draco shook his head heavily, his entire face practically screaming, Something's on my mind.
"Eat first." Seeing that her son was unwilling to speak, Narcissa said gently, "Mother had Dobby make your favorite Beef Bourguignon."
"All right, Mother." Draco smiled at her and followed her into the dining room.
