The holiday finally arrived as scheduled. Hermione took the Hogwarts Express home that morning. As for her dormmates, aside from Ron, who was staying at Hogwarts Castle, Seamus and Neville were both going home for the break.

Hermione was sitting in a compartment reading when there came a sudden knock at the door.

"Is anyone in here?"

Hermione had been annoyed at being disturbed, but upon hearing the voice, she looked up in delighted surprise.

It was Harry and Ron.

"Harry? Ron?" Hermione said happily. "Why are you two on the train too... Oh, I mean, weren't you two staying at the castle?"

"Harry said he wanted to make a trip to Diagon Alley and asked me to come with him." Ron shrugged. "Besides, we were worried some Slytherins might give you trouble on the way."

"They won't. Didn't Harry already reach an agreement with Miss Farley?" Hermione said with a smile, then asked, "I heard Miss Farley asked to see you yesterday afternoon?"

"Oh, yes." Harry lazily leaned back in his seat.

Hermione and Ron were both intrigued. "So what did you talk about?"

"Nothing much. Miss Farley wanted to be friends with me," Harry answered honestly. "You know, Slytherin is just like this."

Indeed, Slytherin in Harry's time had truly been like this.

If you had no real ability, the Slytherins would not even spare you a glance. But if you displayed the proper strength, they would respect you.

They were far better than the current descendants of Death Eaters, who strutted around like they owned the world just because they were supposedly pure-blood wizards, unable to see the way the wind was blowing.

"Is Slytherin like that?" Ron scratched his head. In his fixed impression, Slytherin was far worse.
