Harry turned the Parchment around for her to see. "The records in the Ancient Magic Archives correspond to the locations on Paloma Observatory's preparation list. The target locations they compiled really are part of a single system, and the records in the Confederation Archives confirm it."

Hermione walked in, sat down on the other side of the table, and read through the Parchment in front of him again. "So Paloma Observatory wasn't the first to discover this system."

"They may have been the first to try rebuilding it. As for the seventh location, the coordinates marked on the list point to Asia, but the Archives have no detailed description of that place. There's only a circle drawn on the Parchment, without a name."

Hermione walked around the table to Harry's side and bent over to examine the circle on the page. There were faint pencil marks around its edge, as if someone had tried to write something there before erasing it.

"The information may have been deliberately obscured. Most of the Confederation Archives' records on ancient Ley Lines are concentrated in Europe. The information on Asia is much more fragmented to begin with."

"Then how did Paloma Observatory get those coordinates?"

"They may have come from a private collection, or perhaps through channels in America," Hermione said. "There has also been some research into ancient Ley Lines in North America."

Harry carefully folded the Parchment and put it back into the archive box, then closed the lid.

"The six locations in Europe form an arc from Norway to the Balkan region. The distances between them vary, but the overall direction is continuous. If we connect the seventh location, the arc extends into Central Asia."
