A thousand miles passed in an instant.
The Star Destroyer emerged from the Void, reappearing in the Storm Plane. It had already reached the geographical center of the plane.
Elder Sorim sighed repeatedly. He had tried to attack the Storm Temple many times, but merely gathering a great army and sending it to the front lines was already a huge problem. Usually, the army would be discovered as soon as it set out, then pursued and intercepted all the way. Half the army would be lost before it even reached the battlefield, and they would ultimately return empty-handed.
Yet the Star Destroyer had brought an army of a hundred thousand around the enemy's defenses and arrived directly at its destination!
This single step surpassed all their previous efforts.
Amid the raging winds, a strange yet majestic mountain appeared on the horizon.
It stood amid an endless range of mountains, but towered far above all the surrounding peaks. Its summit was extremely flat, as if some mighty force had sliced off the top. The mountainsides all around were sheer cliffs at ninety-degree angles, resembling a massive table standing upon the earth.
Storm's Peak!
Surprise flashed in Rayne's eyes as he recalled the "table mountains" of his previous life.
However, table mountains were formed through natural evolution over hundreds of millions of years, whereas this mountain called Storm's Peak clearly showed signs of having been carved by hand.
As if sensing what Rayne was thinking, Sorim said, "Storm's Peak was not originally like this. It was transformed by my lord Anheroz with supreme power."
Rayne nodded as he looked down upon this mountain that could be called a miracle.
The summit of Storm's Peak covered a vast area and formed an irregular square, with both its length and width exceeding twenty miles.
