This Troll hunting party had clearly completed its objective.
Their mounts carried all kinds of game, and in the middle of the group was a triceratops five or six meters long, carrying the carcass of a huge wild boar on its back. Every Troll wore a happy expression as they traveled and chatted with their tribesmen, filling the air with laughter and cheer.
Rayne did not alarm the Trolls. He activated the Rainbow Cloak and entered stealth, following silently behind the hunting party while maintaining a certain distance.
He carefully observed the dozen or so Trolls.
They were much like the Trolls outside the Southern Continent. The males had two huge, curved tusks protruding from the sides of their mouths, while the females had no tusks. Instead, their lower canine teeth had grown into fangs.
But regardless of gender, every Troll was strong and agile. Black totems were painted across their exposed skin. They remained fully alert as they traveled, their sharp gazes sweeping around them from time to time and falling on places in the forest where danger might be lurking.
Clearly, these Trolls possessed extremely high intelligence and had not degenerated like the Trolls of the outside world.
The leading Troll Warrior was a Beginner Tier Legendary.
The other Trolls also possessed Intermediate Tier strength. There was even a priest in the group who possessed Spellcasting abilities. The other Trolls respected him, and his status was very high.
The language they used was rather unfamiliar. Rayne could understand only a small number of words, and it was roughly thirty percent similar to a very ancient Troll Language he knew.
After more than twenty thousand years, the language had most likely changed completely.
Rayne decisively activated the "Translation Lexicon."
At first, he could understand only part of it, but
