"I told you not to come to Elainto unless it was necessary." A booming voice echoed through the palace.

At the same time, a towering Mind Flayer appeared before Rayne's Mage Clone. It had a disproportionately enormous head, with six pale-purple tentacles hanging from its chin. Its gaunt body was clad in an ornate magic robe, the long train trailing across the floor, while its withered hand gripped a silver-gray staff.

It was none other than Master Ogulvi.

It looked exactly the same as when they had last met, without the slightest change.

The Mind Flayer Elder Brain had a pair of fishlike, bulging eyes. Without the slightest emotion, it stared coldly at Rayne's Mage Clone. Every syllable it uttered contained terrifying psionic power, enough to make any Transcendent below the Legendary Tier die instantly.

Rayne's Mage Clone sensed immense danger.

Master Ogulvi was extremely displeased, like a volcano on the verge of erupting and burning itself to ash.

"Master, I had no intention of disturbing you." The Mage Clone's mouth could not move, so it hurriedly explained through a Communication Spell. "But there is something very important I wish to ask you about."

Ogulvi remained unmoved, as if he had not heard him.

He merely stared at him coldly.

The surrounding space was frozen. The Mage Clone could not move, nor could he even turn his eyes. Being watched by his opponent sent chills down his spine.

Suddenly, Ogulvi let out a surprised murmur.

"Hmm?"

He seemed to have discovered something novel. An eerie light shone in his eyes, and Rayne's Mage Clone immediately felt as though he had been seen through. This was the effect of the All-Seeing Eye.
