Prelude to the Attack

Sanavia's surrender was completely within Rayne's expectations.

He had already devised a plan. Using the Sub-Mind Chip to send a telepathic message, he asked, "Is Kolsted in the Floating City?"

"He is."

Sanavia answered, "He has always stayed in the upper level of the Floating City. He never shows himself and is constantly conducting magical research." She paused, having already guessed Rayne's intentions. Her voice remained completely flat, but her surprise was still audible. "Are you planning to attack the Floating City?"

"Of course." Rayne did not hide it. "The Floating City is under the control of the Scourge Legion, and the threat it poses to us is too great. We must pull out this poisonous fang."

Sanavia was silent for a while. "That will be difficult."

"With your cooperation, it won't be." Rayne's words revealed intense confidence. "I need to know the situation inside the Floating City. Besides Kolsted, how many Saint Tier powerhouses are there?"
