Chapter Summaries

Rayne and Borchi devastated Majros before Legendary attackers ambushed them, but they defeated the Serpentkin Assassin and the Element Shooter. They ended the chapter collecting the fallen archer’s Enchanted Longbow.

• Borchi swept Dragon Breath across Majros, destroying the city’s buildings and killing many of Loxi’s Cultists as Rayne gathered their souls’ power.
• A Legendary Element Shooter struck Borchi with a freezing arrow, forcing him to transform and crash into a courtyard, where a Legendary Serpentkin Assassin and his warriors ambushed Rayne.
• Rayne used Dragon Roar and Thunderous Smite to wipe out most of the Serpentkin, and Borchi helped him kill the fleeing Assassin.
• Rayne and Borchi tracked the Element Shooter to an inn, where Rayne used Any Door to pursue him despite seven enchanted arrows following him.
• The Element Shooter’s arrow failed to pierce Rayne, who killed him with a hammer blow and picked up his Enchanted Longbow.

Rayne entered the City Lord’s fortress and joined the battle over the treasury, killing the Legendary rat priest before helping Borchi bring down Pergost, the Black Knight. Pergost’s forces were left leaderless, and his longsword remained on the hall floor.

• Rayne used a Portal to reach the City Lord’s estate, where Pigs Berserkers ambushed him and Borchi as they emerged.
• Rayne and Borchi cleared the chamber, then found the Silver Armor Knights and Secret Fire Guard fighting Pergost’s forces in the hall.

Rayne and Tien’s forces killed Majros’s city lord and looted the city lord’s treasury, banks, and an alchemy shop. As they moved toward the docks’ warehouses, Flinck warned that Halken had escaped from the temple and might be somewhere on the surface.

• Rayne killed the Black Knight, and the Silver Armor Knights and Extreme Warriors wiped out the city lord’s guards.
• Rayne smashed open the treasury door, and Tien’s troops and Andro emptied the vault of gold and valuable supplies.
• Tien led the group to Majros’s largest bank, where Andro’s murloc horde overwhelmed the defenders before the troops looted the bank.
• Rayne’s forces looted two more banks and Majros’s famous alchemy shop, fighting off resistance and ambushes along the way.

Rayne searched Majros for Halken while Duke Silverstar’s forces destroyed the Eclipse High Tower and defeated its Black Wizards. After the city’s defenses collapsed, Rayne recognized that the apparent Ilna leading the Secret Fire Guard was Halken in disguise.

• Rayne offered to search for Halken, then flew over Majros with Borchi and used his Soul Eye to look for him, but found no trace.
• The Dragon Demon weakened the Eclipse High Tower’s defenses until Duke Silverstar engulfed it in Silver Fire and looted its treasures.

Rayne discovered that the horrifying monster taken from the Deceiver’s temple possessed a unique Legendary Element that could create a powerful, independent incarnation. After learning its origins and abilities from Halken’s records, he began planning how to obtain it from Duke Silverstar.

• Rayne and the others saw the tentacled monster, whose mind-wrenching appearance caused the Silver Armor Knights to drop its tank.
• Duke Silverstar concealed the monster and assigned Griffis to study it after he explained it had been found in the Deceiver Temple.
• The group returned to Longshande, where Duke Silverstar ordered the spoils cataloged and rewards and pensions paid at double the standard.
• Flinck reported the casualties, and Rayne received thanks for his and the Extreme Warriors’ role in protecting the Silver Armor Knights.
• Rayne examined the monster through the airship window and discovered its Legendary Element could copy a soul to create an independent incarnation with abilities including Miracle Resurrection and Rook Exchange.

On the airship to Glamorgan, Rayne identified and absorbed the Void Gate, an Epic Tier teleportation item, and ended the chapter opening a Portal before the Extreme Warriors.

• Reslin practiced Fireball with an enchanted Rune Book, then constructed and refined a matching Spell Model in his soul.

• Reslin watched the gathered Wizards and identified Dalamar and Polaris as standout candidates, noting Polaris’s Perfect Soul Transformation and talent.
• Polaris noticed Reslin and learned from another Wizard that he was an outsider named Reslin who had entered Wizerland with a recommendation.
• Ansiwodoss announced that the Council of Six had expanded the ceremony to thirty student places.
• Rayne gave Osiria the first choice, and Osiria invited Polaris to become her student.
• Polaris weighed her options, noticed Rayne and Osiria seemed to share an understanding, then went to Osiria and respectfully greeted her as her teacher.

Rayne accepted five students during Wizerland's teacher-acceptance ceremony, choosing Reslin, Dalamar, Jenna Pumor, Sparrowhawk, and Garou. After the Goddess of Magic witnessed the completed ceremonies, Rayne left through a Portal with his students, while Polaris remained Osiria's student.

• Polaris accepted Osiria as her teacher, and Osiria did not announce another student.
• Rayne summoned Reslin, his disguised incarnation, and formally accepted him as a student.
