Every time the FC version of Demon World Village was launched, Princess would be abducted once. The monster unit that abducted her was a bloated creature covered in red fur, capable of flying freely through the sky. Many players jokingly called it the "Big Red Demon." Its name was Satan.

Despite the impressive name, its actual position in the Demon King's Army was below that of the Demon King. It was more like a commander-level monster leader, not the true Demon King himself.

Quite a few players who had never actually cleared the game, nor watched videos to clear it vicariously, probably believed that the guy abducting Princess at the start of every run was the Demon King himself.

How could the ruler of the Demon Realm, someone with the identity of Demon King, possibly go out personally to snatch a woman? Of course he sent his underlings!

In the standard Demon World Village dungeon progression, this Satan's sole mission was to abduct Princess so that she could marry his Demon King, ultimately completing the task of combining the Demon King's bloodline with that of the human royal family and producing an heir qualified to rule both the Demon Realm and the Human Realm.

But in Cheng Tian's timeline, Satan accidentally killed the already heavily wounded Arthur while abducting Princess, which was why Cheng Tian ended up inheriting Arthur's will.

Arthur's mission was to destroy the Demon King, rescue Princess, and save the Human Realm. Even after death, that would not change. But when Cheng Tian encountered the demon responsible for everything, the will of Arthur infused within the underwear was activated.
