A Brief Cameo

"Open your eyes and take a breath! You idiot Miko!" Naruto hugged Shion, the immense force shoving him steadily backward. "Did you see it? Did you hear it?! What is your heart saying? Do you want to die like this?!"

"No..."

"Do you want to disappear like this?!"

"But..."

"I can't hear you!" Naruto steadied himself and shielded Shion behind him, shouting with boundless energy, "Shion, say what you want with your own mouth!"

"No... no!" Swept up in the protagonist's aura, Shion unconsciously cried out what was in her heart.

"Me too, and my comrades too! I don't want to lose anyone anymore." Naruto raised both hands, and the protective bell the Miko had given him floated into the air, radiating a dazzling light. "You don't have to accept an unreasonable fate!!"

Ming Jing stood beside Moryo and could not help frowning at Naruto's declaration. He had clearly drawn all the hatred toward himself! He had been about to make a move and suppress this guy, then walk out in glory and show off in front of Hinata. So why had the boss's attention been so easily pulled away by Naruto?
