Mobilization on All Fronts

In Kusagakure, Mugen, Mui, and Muson had gathered together for the first time in a long while. Between them lay two handwritten letters from Ming Jing.

"According to the Prime Minister's orders, we need to send two-thirds of the Grass Ninja to the Royal Capital of the Land of Fire to join up with the Police Force Unit. The remaining third will be responsible for protecting the Daimyo," Muson said solemnly as she looked at Mugen.

"What happened? Why are we suddenly mobilizing troops?" Mui asked, somewhat puzzled. Because of Ming Jing's appearance, Mui had never had the chance to open the Box of Bliss. Her son, Muku, was alive and well, and his relationship with Ryuzetsu was gradually deepening. As a result, Mui was now more like a retired old woman, eagerly waiting for her son to get married so she could hold her grandchildren. Wouldn't three generations under one roof be wonderful? She had long since stopped involving herself in the storms of the Ninja World. Unfortunately, the younger generation of Kusagakure was too disappointing; even now, they had not found anyone capable of taking over her duties. Thus, despite being one of Kusagakure's higher-ups, she knew nothing about the major events that had occurred in the Ninja World lately.

"Some old ghost crawled out of some grave and wants to stir up trouble in the Ninja World again." Mugen picked up one of the letters and read it. Her bored demeanor instantly vanished, and she perked up, waving the letter in her hand as she said, "This time, the opponent calls himself Madara Uchiha."

"Madara Uchiha? The man who founded Konoha with the First Hokage?" Mui froze, then asked in surprise, "Didn't the rumors say that the First Hokage killed him at the Valley of the End?"
