Just as the two were despairing, waiting for death, and Geats had stopped approaching the Jyamato Fortress but couldn't make it in time to save them—
A silver mechanical figure wreathed in cyan light and blazing flames appeared.
The handsome mecha, with overwhelming power, shattered the collapsing giant building with a single punch, then stood tall above them, blocking the falling rubble that would have buried them alive.
When the dust settled, the still-terrified Nene Arakawa and Keiwa Sakurai opened their eyes, fear still lingering on their faces.
They felt their bodies and found no wounds or pain.
"I—we're not dead?!"
"We seem to be alive, but what exactly..."
Keiwa pinched himself; the pain confirmed he wasn't dead.
Then, sensing something, he instinctively looked up and saw the handsome mecha figure.
Had he saved them?
"What a cool mecha warrior—he saved us, right?"
Looking up at the mecha warrior who had rescued them, Nene couldn't help but speak. Especially Sam's upright posture radiated an overwhelming sense of safety.
That power of Preservation brought peace of mind.
As if, with him here, no danger could be frightening anymore.
"Hello, um... who are you?!"
"Thank you for your help."
When they noticed the mechanical warrior turning to look at them, Keiwa and Nene both asked at once.
Nene, in particular, stared at the mecha before her; that deep sense of security stirred a strange emotion within her.
"Sam. Stellaron Hunter... Sam."
A mechanical male voice came from Sam as he answered them, and he landed beside them from the air.
Though he intended to destroy the Jyamato Fortress, for Sam, this wasn't urgent—it was just a matter of convenience.
"Stellaron Hunter?"
"Sam...?"
Hearing Sam's reply, Nene and Keiwa looked bewildered, completely lost.
Stellaron Hunter—did that mean a hunter who hunted stellars?
But what was a stellar?
As for Sam, that was probably this person's name.
But there was no time to ask further, and Sam wouldn't volunteer explanations.
"You shouldn't be here."
"Leave now."
"Find a safe place. What's happening here is beyond what you can handle right now."
"As for the rest, someone will tell you later."
He glanced at the two. Keiwa was still that clear-eyed, naive boy dreaming of world peace.
And Nene was still the young lady seeking true love, trying to escape her family's control.
"Huh?"
Hearing Sam's words, Keiwa's gaze grew even more confused. Someone would tell them later?
What was going on?!
He wanted to say more, but Sam was already walking toward the approaching Jyamato.
That suppressed Keiwa's curiosity—now wasn't the time for this.
But Nene's big eyes followed Sam's back as he strode toward the Jyamato, and that reliable sense of safety grew even stronger.
Like a knight guarding a princess, charging forward without hesitation when she was in danger.
"I think... I've found my true love."
Though Nene possessed both wealth and beauty, she longed to cast them aside and become an ordinary person, dreaming of finding her true love, her destined one.
Even her livestreaming was partly so that her future destined partner could get to know her through it.
The reason was her fear, her lack of courage, her longing to be protected and saved. And all of it stemmed from her family's almost twisted love for her.
So her wish was to meet her destined one. And that destined one was essentially a prince or knight who could give her absolute peace of mind and take her away.
This destined one had only been a hope—but now... Nene suddenly felt she had found him.
The one who saved her from the brink of death, gave her unparalleled security, and faced those monsters without hesitation.
Wasn't he exactly the true love, the destined one, she had been searching for?
"Huh?!"
Listening to Nene Arakawa's words, Keiwa Sakurai beside her was a bit confused.
Chapter 8: The Final Desire God Can Only Be Me
Sam stepped forward one by one toward the approaching Jyamato. Though there were many Jyamato here, they were all just small fry.
Merely material for her to rack up points.
Among these Jyamato, you could barely spot any high-level ones—all were pawn-grade cannon fodder.
An ordinary person who was strong or agile could take on a few with a weapon.
"Cleanup begins!"
Suddenly, Sam accelerated, charging before the Jyamato like a phantom. The Jyamato holding a long spear had its weapon grabbed by her, and then she threw a heavy punch, the immense force annihilating the surrounding Jyamato together.
So far, Sam hadn't even used her true power.
If she unleashed her real strength, a single strike would kill everyone here.
But aside from the Jyamato and Kamen Riders, there were other survivors here. Though these people could likely be revived if they died, the girl couldn't bring herself to recklessly destroy everything right now.
On top of that, she had her eyes on that Jyamato Fortress. If she destroyed the Jyamato Fortress—the final boss—here, preventing those Kamen Riders from becoming the Desire God, maybe the DGP organizers wouldn't revive the dead either.
After all, for the sake of more realistic deaths, the people behind the DGP Grand Prix weren't exactly kind. Many times, quite a few weren't revived.
While Sam was speed-farming the Jyamato, Nene Arakawa behind her watched with an admiring gaze.
This knight protecting her was just too cool!
That sense of safety was unmistakable.
Keiwa Sakurai, however, quickly snapped out of it and called her back to reality.
"Miss Nene, let's leave here and find a safe place. We shouldn't burden this Mr. Sam."
They couldn't do anything here, couldn't help at all. The only thing they could do was not hold others back.
Though Keiwa Sakurai really wanted to know what was happening to this world, now clearly wasn't the time. He was a good guy, but not an idiot.
"Got it."
Nene Arakawa, though a bit reluctant, still moved away from here with Keiwa Sakurai.
Once this was over, she'd go find that knight!
If it was him, he could definitely take her far away, away from that painful family of hers.
Besides, now that aliens had invaded and the world was ending, maybe a lot of things weren't so important anymore. At least, that was how it seemed to her right now.
"So weak!"
Sam grabbed a Jyamato's arm, squeezed lightly... and its arm snapped clean off.
"Too weak."
Tossing away the Jyamato in her hand, she casually kicked aside the other Jyamato around her. The girl inside couldn't help but sigh.
These Jyamato really were too weak. They couldn't even make her use her real strength.
Before Sam's overwhelming power, they were like paper—falling apart at the slightest touch. She could even clean up all the Jyamato without transforming into Sam.
Well, this was still just the early stages of the DGP Grand Prix.
Not only were the Jyamato weak, but those Desire Series Kamen Riders were weak too.
So far, they were all using half-body gear, not real power. Take that Kamen Rider Buffa—he'd fought all the way to the end with just a Zombie Buckle.
The Jyamato as opponents were naturally pitifully weak.
Only the final boss could pose any real danger.
But even the Jyamato Fortress was only city-destroying level. The whole world-ending thing was more due to the DGP Grand Prix's rules.
Still, the later final forms were all very strong.
Whether it was Kamen Rider Tycoon's Bujin Sword or Ace Ukiyo's Kamen Rider Geats IX.
Easily finishing off the Jyamato in front of her, just as Sam turned her gaze to the Jyamato Fortress still rampaging in the sky, a figure appeared not far away.
It was Kamen Rider Buffa.
"What the hell is this guy? Where did he come from?"
"Is he a new Kamen Rider? Doesn't seem like it."
Kamen Rider Buffa—Azuma Michinaga—stared hard at the Mecha Sam who had just cleared out the Jyamato, unable to make sense of the situation.
He'd already beaten that Geats guy to completing the city survivor rescue mission, and his points had completely surpassed him.
With victory in sight, he didn't like this kind of change.
Thinking of something, Michinaga quickly pulled out the DGP Grand Prix's exclusive phone and checked the remaining Kamen Rider list.
No one new had been added. It really was just him and that Geats guy left.
What the hell is going on? What is the Grand Prix management up to now? Pulling something shady at the very last moment.
In Azuma Michinaga's mind, the sudden appearance of a Mecha warrior had to be connected to the Grand Prix. They clearly didn't want him to win, deliberately raising the difficulty.
"Interesting."
"I really can't figure out what's happening! A guy like this shows up at the last moment, right, Buffa?"
Just then, a voice that Azuma Michinaga found utterly detestable rang out nearby, making the already irritated Michinaga instantly glare over.
Sure enough, it was that Geats guy!
A handsome man was leaning against a motorcycle, his body bent forward, his face carrying an expression of supreme confidence and a fox's cunning as he stared at him.
"Geats!!"
Staring fixedly at the man before him, Azuma Michinaga let out a roar like a bull.
Everything else was irrelevant; in his eyes, this fox was the greatest rival. His dream was to make all Kamen Riders disappear, to wipe them out of existence.
Especially this fox right here.
"You show up now, of all times? Aren't you a little too confident, you bastard!"
"My Points have already far surpassed yours. The final winner of the DGP Grand Prix is me."
Though he was annoyed by Ukiyo Ace's arrogant attitude, they had all been fighting tooth and nail for Points. Only this fox acted as if victory was already in his grasp, appearing unhurriedly at the very end.
His Points hadn't even increased much.
Azuma Michinaga glanced at his own Points. He had already completely surpassed Geats, so the winner could only be himself.
