"A clue," Zerakas said. "An invisible and powerful force is concealing its existence. I don't know whether this is the will of the Force itself or some unique ability of the talisman. If it's the former, that would be exciting, because it means the 'channel' is working."
He extended his telepathy into Lucien Draay's spirit, allowing him to hear his words as well.
"What exactly is this 'channel' you keep talking about?" Lucien Draay asked. Then he paused before immediately saying, "I know what you mean... Force technology. If nothing unexpected happened, the Jedi Order would seal away this technology. Even in my era, they already intended to do so. It was only because the Sith Empire still existed that they needed the power of Force technology."
"This Force technology... this channel, is that why artifacts like Muur Talisman can unleash the greatest energy from the smallest volume and remain potent for thousands, even tens of thousands, of years?" Darth Malthael asked.
"That's right. And once Force technology is involved, it becomes an entirely different technological system from the current one. Sometimes, it can't even be called technology. Perhaps it's more like... mysticism," Lucien Draay replied.
"Then what can you tell me about Force technology?" Darth Malthael asked.
"I won't say a single word. And I can tell you that the Jedi Covenant Temple on Drai II contains no records whatsoever about Force technology either," Lucien Draay said.
Darth Malthael said coldly, "You should know that I'll develop it sooner or later, shouldn't you?"
"At least until then, the Milky Way Galaxy can have a few more peaceful days," Lucien Draay said blandly.
