The Defeat of Umbara (Part 1)
Hearing Tang Xiao's words, Pong Krell's heart lurched again, because Tang Xiao had once more seen straight through his thoughts!
He really had been planning to devise a scheme of mutual slaughter!
Pong Krell had indeed intended to notify Anakin Skywalker's 501st Legion to advance in his direction, then falsely claim that the Umbarians had obtained a batch of Clone Trooper armor from the fallen soldiers and were using it to disguise themselves for a surprise attack.
That way, his own legion and the 501st Legion could openly clash, weakening their forces and ensuring the complete failure of the Battle of Umbara.
But Tang Xiao had exposed it again with a single remark!
