"You turned my mother into an undead monster!!" Anakin roared.
"Who told you your mother was a monster?" Tang Xiao looked at him sideways. "Could it be that you actually see your own mother as a monster?"
"I don't want to trade barbs with you!! You will pay for this!!" Anakin shouted.
"Want to fight?" Tang Xiao sneered. "Though I wouldn't mind crushing you with a single finger, it wouldn't be very appropriate to do so in front of your mother. I'm not like you—I wouldn't call my own mother a monster."
"Compared to a living person, my mother is more like a corpse now! A walking corpse!! How dare you desecrate my mother's body like this?!" Anakin angrily rebuked him.
"She was already dead, so I needed a vessel to contain her soul," Tang Xiao said blandly. "So you're right. Your mother's body is indeed dead."
"What did you say?" Anakin froze.
A cryptic smile appeared on Tang Xiao's lips. "What I mean is, your mother never truly died. My Resurrection Spell was imperfect at the time, but at least it preserved her soul and allowed it to remain within that dead body. However, because she had already been dead for over an hour, her brain suffered irreversible hypoxic damage, and she lost many of her memories. I must admit that."
"You..." Anakin's mind had trouble processing what Tang Xiao was saying.
