Her two greatest accomplishments were, first, joining forces with Fleet Admiral Zaarin in a coup and actually kidnapping Darth Sidious, who was already Emperor of the Galactic Empire at the time. Second, she trained several powerful apprentices, one of whom was a Tusken Raider—and that apprentice actually defeated Darth Vader.
In other words, both Sidious and his apprentice had suffered at her hands, which showed just how powerful she was.
In the original storyline, Arden Lyn only awakened after the Clone Wars ended and the Galactic Empire was founded, joining Darth Sidious after a chain of coincidences. Yet now, for some unknown reason, she had awakened several years early.
Darth Malthael understood that this was undoubtedly a consequence of his massive impact on the storyline. But with the world having developed to this point, it no longer mattered what the original storyline had been. Darth Malthael would never follow it anyway.
