After the Galactic Republic caught wind of it, they dispatched Senator Padmé Amidala, who had once been romantically involved with Rush Clovis, to get close to him. With Anakin Skywalker's help, they ultimately obtained the plans for this super carrier.
However, the Endless-class Super Carrier production line had been built on Semirres Planet, located deep within the Eastern Territory of the Milky Way Galaxy. To attack Semirres Planet, they would have to drive straight through Separatist-controlled space and fight their way to its very core.
Perhaps for precisely that reason, the Separatists had not relocated the Endless-class Super Carrier production line even after the intelligence was leaked.
Sending a fleet for a direct assault was therefore out of the question. The Republic Intelligence Department had dispatched a large number of agents to sabotage the production line, or at the very least bring back some intelligence. But security on Semirres Planet was airtight, leaving the Republic Intelligence Department with no opportunity whatsoever.
