"Transmission tower?" Jango Fett questioned. "That place was heavily guarded from the beginning."
"The heavy guard was only directed outward," Hermit said. "They were completely unprepared for anything from within."
"How did you figure out he was in the transmission tower?" Jango Fett asked.
"Because I found no trace of him having appeared in the spaceport basement," Hermit said. "And aside from the spaceport, the only other place where someone wearing Zann Corporation work uniforms could possibly appear was the transmission tower! Because if Pre Vizsla's conspiracy was to be carried out, the people installing the mind-control device in the transmission tower could only have been Zann Corporation workers."
"That deduction is a little far-fetched," Jango Fett said.
"The spaceport warehouse basement was under extremely tight security, and its secret construction began before the conspiracy was put into motion. For Vitaly Orlov to discover it, he would have had to find it while it was still being built. Once the basement was completed and surveillance was everywhere, there was no way he could have discovered it and escaped unscathed," Hermit said.
"Even if he had discovered that place, he would definitely have sent word out beforehand. But he didn't. So the only place where he could have uncovered Pre Vizsla's conspiracy and had a chance to infiltrate it was the transmission tower, which had only just been completed." Hermit raised two fingers. "Those two conditions, plus one premise, lead to this conclusion—the premise being that Vitaly Orlov still hasn't been captured."
"And if he's already been caught, then all your reasoning is bullshit?" Jango Fett asked.
"That's right." Hermit nodded.
Jango Fett snorted and got to his feet. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
Hermit raised an eyebrow. "You actually believe such bullshit reasoning?"
"I don't have a
