A Republic Army squad entered the building where someone had been taking potshots and throwing Molotov cocktails. Before long, a burst of commotion and scattered gunfire came from inside. Suddenly, a civilian woman, fleeing in blind panic, opened a fourth-floor window and jumped straight out!
With a heavy thud, she hit the hard ground and never moved again.

Whoosh~~~~~ A fighter formation streaked across the sky at high speed. A missile struck an anti-aircraft turret ahead that was firing furiously, blasting it into the air with a boom.
Rat-tat-tat! Rat-tat-tat! Gunfire erupted throughout every corner of the city.
As the Republic army pushed into Izzy City, the fighting between both sides grew increasingly fierce. Artillery roared across the ground while fighters screamed through the sky. From above, the city was nothing but countless bolts of laser fire and blazing flames, denser than the stars filling the heavens.
The Galactic Republic Army surpassed the Onderon army in both numbers and quality. Though they lacked the polymer-alloy armor worn by Clone Troopers, they were still equipped with DC-15s, the blaster rifles with the most stable overall performance in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Combined with multifunction electronic tactical visors, global positioning and communications systems, blastproof heat-resistant chest inserts, and EMP grenades for dealing with droids, their equipment was vastly superior to the basic gear used by the Onderon army.
Once the offensive began, they quickly advanced several kilometers into the city. The Onderon army simply could not stop them.
