Willix Blythex forced out a smile. "Honestly, seeing that you're doing well is enough for me. As for the rest, I'd rather use my strength to help more people than for killing..."
Lila Blythex was practically losing her mind. She clutched her forehead with both hands and paced back and forth. "Why don't you understand? If the war could be ended quickly with the warships you designed, you'd save far more people than your lousy passenger ships could evacuate one by one!!"
"I used to think the same way," Willix Blythex said. "But reality showed me that it was impossible. No matter how many warships I designed, all I accomplished was creating an endless arms race."
"You could clearly have done more! You had the support of the most powerful industrial corporation in the Milky Way Galaxy!! You could have leveraged the entire Milky Way Galaxy!!" Lila Blythex shouted.
"It was precisely because I had Kuat's industrial might and financial support that the warships I designed brought about countless killings. That isn't what I wanted... All I ever wanted was to return home with you and grow up in peace," Willix said.
"There's a war going on, Willix! Don't you know that? Even if we went back home, it would ultimately be burned to ashes in the flames of war!" Lila made one final attempt.
"You're wrong, Lila. There are still many places in the Milky Way Galaxy untouched by war. So far, this hasn't been a total war... You only think war is everywhere because you chose to walk into it."
