"Your father? Mr. Willix?" Dunn Vesex had naturally investigated these matters long ago. "Indeed, he first left Kuat Drive Yards, then joined Rendili StarDrive in defecting to the Separatists."
"He didn't want to design warships for the Galactic Republic, but that doesn't matter! I can design warships too! I just wanted to be with my father! After Mother passed away... he was my only family..." Lila Blythex said sorrowfully.
"I understand how you feel... but you don't need to be too sad. You still have me by your side," Dunn Vesex said.
"Thank you, Dunn. It's a good thing I have you..." Lila Blythex revealed a happy smile, but it soon fell again. "But I can't just watch my father go further and further down the wrong path. Dunn, can you help me?"
"Of course I'll help you! Do you want me to kidnap Mr. Willix... ah, no, invite him back?" Dunn Vesex said.
"Yes. He should still be on Rendili Planet." Lila nodded.
"I'll immediately send out my best intelligence officers and agents! If that isn't enough, my uncle serves in the Republic Intelligence Department. I'll ask for his help and have the Galactic Republic's top agents dispatched!" Dunn Vesex declared proudly. "Within a week at most, you'll be reunited with your father!"
"Thank you... I don't even know how I could repay you," Lila Blythex said softly.
"Whatever you want, I'm willing to devote myself wholeheartedly to making it happen, and I'll never ask anything of you in return." Dunn Vesex casually placed a hand around Lila's slender waist. "I think you need a change of mood. How about we go see a performance at the Galaxy Grand Theater tonight?"
