1748, Young Drifter (Part 2)
The young man lowered his head to look at his ticket. A string of numbers was displayed on its thin digital screen—D5-32-H06-068.
When he received the ticket, he knew it meant D5 Elevator, Level 32, H06 Compartment, Seat 068.
The young man looked up and saw dozens of elevators marked with numbers on the enormous boarding platform, which stretched farther than the eye could see. Holding his ticket, he headed toward D5 Elevator.
Only by walking here could one truly appreciate the sheer size of this ship. D5 Elevator was relatively far back, and it took him a full ten minutes to reach it. Conservatively speaking, this massive ship had to be at least a thousand meters long!

Although kilometer-class capital ships had practically become nothing more than a number on the battlefield of space, they were still an unattainable industrial miracle to ordinary people! Standing before such a gigantic vessel, the shock was incomparable. At a glance, its length nearly exceeded the limits of human vision!
Under such circumstances, a person was as tiny as an ant before an elephant.
He took D5 Elevator. It was enormous and held at least a hundred people, but that also meant it stopped at nearly every level. It took a full ten minutes to reach Level 32.
After stepping out of the elevator, he saw a checkpoint ahead. Two staff members, guarded by four fully armed soldiers,
