The Fall of Saleucami
July 4, 16 BBY. It had been three years since the Galactic Empire was founded.
Outer Rim of the galaxy, Confederate stronghold planet, Saleucami.
The space around this once-beautiful planet was littered with fragments and wreckage from warships. There was so much debris that it had even formed an asteroid belt!
In the planet's near-Earth orbit, several enormous sections of metallic structures floated conspicuously—remains of the destroyed Star Ring! These wreckages had already been captured by the planet's gravity and were in an extremely dangerous orbit. At any moment, they could be dragged down by gravity and crash heavily into the surface, causing a horrifying disaster no less devastating than a nuclear explosion.
Without question, Saleucami Planet had become a wasteland of war...
And the culprits behind this disaster were still lingering around the planet: hundreds of terrifying warships! Triangular wedge-shaped hulls, towering bridges, dense arrays of Turbolaser Turrets—the Imperial-class Star Destroyers!
The glory of the Galactic Empire!
Besides the hundreds of Imperial-class Star Destroyers, there were thousands of small and medium warships, including Aquitenes-class light cruisers, Vindicator-class heavy cruisers, Marauder-class frigates, and more.
In addition, over a hundred 2,200-meter Pursuer-class aircraft carriers stood behind the fleet formation. Countless fighters rose and descended from their launch platforms. There were both the Galactic Republic's classic V-wing fighters and a brand-new type of light fighter.
A light fighter with a spherical cockpit and two solar panels—the TIE/LN fighter. Their numbers were immense, launching in swarms of twenty-four per squadron like locusts.
At the center of these countless warships and fighters, protected as though by stars surrounding the moon, was an incomparably gigantic super warship!
This super warship resembled a dagger: sharp and flat, gleaming silver-gray beneath the starlight. Beside it, even a 1,600-meter Imperial-class Star Destroyer looked as
