1860, Galactic Empire with Its Buffs Fully Stacked (Part 2)
Previously, whenever either the Galactic Republic or the Galactic Empire launched an attack on Saleucami Planet, without exception, their rear lines would catch fire and they would get stabbed in the back.
The fleets attacking Saleucami Planet would either have their troop transports ambushed, sending huge numbers of soldiers drifting through space as debris, or have their supply ships blown apart, causing interruptions in their energy and missile supplies amid high-intensity combat.
Count Dooku would also hire mercenary groups unafraid of death, who would suddenly strike from behind in the heat of battle and unleash a frenzy of firepower at the engines of Galactic Empire warships.
There were also more advanced tactics, such as deliberately creating hyperspace turbulence or deploying Interdictors. While these could not truly cut off hyperspace routes, they could sometimes cause discrepancies in the arrival times and coordinates of ships within a fleet.
If there was a time difference, the fleet could very well be defeated piecemeal because its forces could not gather quickly enough. If the coordinates were wrong, a ship might sometimes veer straight into a planet, resulting in total destruction and death!
Moreover, the hyperspace routes leading to Saleucami Planet were not major routes to begin with. Any fleet heading there had to advance in separate groups.
At the same time, an even deadlier threat lay in another direction—the Mandalore star sector.
The Separatist super commander stationed there, Sefrans Tann, did not have many ships under her command, but she still possessed an Endless-class Super Carrier and a Conqueror-class battleship. Her fleet appeared and vanished unpredictably, often showing up where Galactic Empire fleet commanders least expected it, before striking with lethal force like a venomous snake!
The Mandalore star sector had long since become
