God of Decay (Part 1)
Five stoutly built warships emerged from the other side of the stargate. Without almost any pause, they immediately launched an attack on the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium's remnant fleet!
These five warships looked like ducks squatting on the ground. Their very design gave an impression of extreme solidity, and indeed, that was exactly the case. They charged straight into the Xilu warships' formation, rampaging through it while the laser cannons mounted along their flanks fired wildly.
Their most distinctive feature was that the lasers they fired came in a dazzling array of colors. They looked truly beautiful, but in reality, they were Reapers dragging people into hell!
That was right. These were the Hell-Angel Class Battlecruisers, which had now replaced the Kohl-class Battlecruiser as the Duchy of Dawn Navy's new generation of core warships!
Already locked in a bitter struggle against the Endless-class Super Carrier and its escorting warships, the heavily damaged Ssi-ruuvi Imperium remnant fleet had no chance of stopping five Hell-Angel Class Battlecruisers at the peak of their combat readiness. Less than ten minutes after the engagement began, a previously damaged Xirui-class battlecruiser was sunk.
At the sight of such overwhelmingly powerful reinforcements, the morale of the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium remnant fleet, which had been hanging on by its last breath, immediately collapsed. The remaining warships scattered at once, and the massive fleet broke apart like startled birds and beasts.
No matter how General Lepix shouted, it was useless. He could only watch helplessly as the last remaining strength of the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium vanished completely.
A Hell-Angel Class Battlecruiser was approaching the Wurrif-class light cruiser aboard which he was stationed. From intercepted communications, they had determined that this cruiser was the Xilu fleet flagship, so they intended to capture its crew alive.
"The time has come!"
