For the next few days, Admiral Qiyala remained in her cabin and never came out. However, the battle on Crustai no longer required much command anyway. The situation had essentially become a one-sided rout.

Kace Maxwell merely coordinated with the T-series tactical robots to make some basic deployments against the robot army. Then High Templar Rassidan located the Grysks, after which they surrounded and attacked them.

Other than Sangare, who had been captured at the very beginning, the remaining six Grysks were scattered across the planet. Each occupied a major city and controlled anywhere from twenty million to over a hundred million Crustai. Those numbers were simply staggering. Even Rassidan said that such powerful mind control could only be achieved by a handful of exceptionally powerful beings among the Protoss.

It took roughly another week to deal with all the Grysks on the planet. Three Grysks were killed during the fighting. Including Sangare, who had been captured at the start, they seized a total of four Grysks on Crustai.

But the losses incurred to achieve that goal were horrifying.

Crustai had originally had a population of around five hundred million. During the hunt for the seven Grysks, all of them controlled their armies and civilians to resist madly. In order to capture those few Grysks, nearly fifty million Crustai were slaughtered over the course of the campaign—one-tenth of the planet's population!

This was because the moment the Grysks discovered they were under attack, they immediately gathered every Crustai around them to shield themselves. They did not care in the slightest whether the Crustai lived or died. Likewise, Admiral Qiyala and the others, who were determined to eradicate the Grysks, naturally did not care either.

The result was one horrific massacre after another!
