But although Rassidan said so, the Grysk Hegemony's so-called "real" counterattack never came.
More than twenty million Togot Swarm insects had already been deployed onto the fifth planet. Rough estimates put their combat losses at over two million. Near the landing zones, the planet's resistance had almost completely collapsed. Armored forces were still being detected rushing in from other cities, but that was no longer a problem.
Tang Xiao deployed his battle fleet around the planet. The Luukri-Hok-class battleship served as the core, with two Hell-Angel Class Battlecruisers positioned forward and the other eight Kohl-class Battlecruisers surrounding them, remaining on constant alert as they waited for the Grysk Hegemony's counterattack.
They waited for a week, yet everything remained calm. Tang Xiao began to wonder whether the Grysk Hegemony truly had no fleet of its own. They seemed like parasites, controlling other species and indulging in extravagance on the planets they ruled, leaving them with no need to develop their own industry.
Two more days passed before news arrived from Senka Planet: a Grysk had been captured. Through long-range communications, Tang Xiao briefly interrogated the Grysk, but as usual, the captive knew nothing.
Based on Tang Xiao's current understanding of the Grysk Hegemony, Grysk society was divided into several ranks. At the bottom was the laborer class. This class possessed only weak telepathic abilities; even when they could control others, they could only control very weak creatures. Thus, within Grysk Hegemony society, they could only serve as ordinary laborers.
Then came the low-level Coordinators. They could perform mental control, but their abilities were mediocre and could not affect many individuals. They could only attach themselves to higher-ranking Grysk and provide them with assistance.
