"What is this?" A surge of fury at having been played immediately rose within Tang Xiao!
He immediately opened communications and connected to the warships carrying the two High Templars. He roared, "You! Which one of you has been controlled?! Why is there a fleet here?!"
Through the optical sensors, the fleet was plainly visible.
From the front, every one of those warships had a cross-shaped design. They were all coated in a special paint that made them nearly impossible to distinguish with the naked eye when positioned in a planet's shadow.
Though the Duchy of Dawn's sensors could still see them clearly, that design alone could exert tremendous psychological pressure on races with less advanced technology.
What was even more alarming was the fleet's size!
There were over two thousand warships assembled here! They shared a uniform design and came in five different types.
The smallest were frigates around ninety meters long. They appeared to be fire-support variants, as they were all positioned at the rear of the formation. There were more than five hundred of them.
Then came Light Cruisers around 250 meters long, the most numerous type, totaling roughly one thousand.
There were around four hundred Heavy Cruisers measuring roughly 500 meters long. Another type of warship, 700 meters in length, numbered over a hundred.
Finally, there were twenty 1,100-meter capital ships. They were likely the largest warships of the Grysk Hegemony.
Tang Xiao was beside himself with rage. The attack on Aberla Planet had been nothing more than a spur-of-the-moment decision, a target changed at the last minute. Yet upon arriving here, he had discovered that he had walked straight into an ambush!
